Steven Heussner is founder and CEO of Mogul Wealth Strategies, LLC . Heussner’s professional career began in 1984 as a financial analyst in Fina Oil & Chemical Company’s Strategic Planning Department. Heussner’s investment and insurance career began in 1988 when he joined New York Life as an agent. At New York Life, he has won numerous company and industry awards. He founded Heussner Insurance Agency, Inc 1996 and then Mogul Wealth Strategies in 2010 where he serves a large number of business owners and wealthy families.

He is a member of the Million Dollar Round Table,* National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, Associated General Contractors, Associated Building Contractors and the Construction Financial Management Association. He has served as President of the Princeton Alumni Association of D/FW and President of Richardson Noon Toastmasters. He is a past board member of the Dallas Chapter of the Construction Financial Management Association and has served on the Leadership, Insurance and Legislative committees of the Associated General Contractors. He has served as Chairman of the International Risk Management Institute’s Construction Benefits Conference. He has served as a board member for the City of McKinney’s Economic Development Corporation and Chamber of Commerce, and he volunteers for the Prison Entrepreneurship Program.

Steven and his wife, Risa, have lived in McKinney, TX, since 1992, and they have two adult children. In his free time, Steven plays on a hockey team and enjoys golf, skiing, cooking, and all types of exercise. He received a B.S.E. in Civil Engineering from Princeton University in 1984.

Kim Heussner
Insurance Professional

Kim is the newest member of our team, joining in 2018 after spending 6 years in ticket sales with the Oklahoma City Thunder. In her new role, Kim specializes in helping families and business owners meet their needs through life insurance and a variety of other products.

Kim received her Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from the University of Oklahoma in 2012 and offices out of Edmond, Oklahoma. She enjoys skiing, traveling, and OrangeTheory Fitness classes. She volunteers for the Y Achievers College Readiness program, which pairs local business leaders with high school freshman to help them build a successful path to higher education.

Eric Heussner
Licensed Service Assistant

Eric joined our team in March of 2018. His passion for quality customer service makes him a valuable asset to the team, and having worked in various industries, brings a fresh and new perspective.

Eric resides in The Colony after spending the last few years in Tzaneen, South Africa, Anchorage, Alaska and Austin, Texas. He enjoys traveling, hiking, skiing, spending time outdoors and watching sports. He also enjoys volunteering for the Prison Entrepreneur Program and participating in Richardson Noon Toastmasters.

Kathleen Hunter

Kathleen is new to our team and the insurance industry. She joined our team in 2017, bringing over 20 years of experience as an administrative assistant in the computer industry. Kathleen is responsible for ensuring that our clients receive first-class service; that business operations run smoothly and that our Mogul Wealth team has the resources needed to reach every goal.

Kathleen lives in Van Alstyne, TX with her husband, Phil, and their three cats. Together, they have one grown daughter, Leslie, who is their pride and joy. Kathleen enjoys genealogy, traveling and watching old movies.

We serve business owners and affluent families and provide business succession, estate planning, and wealth and tax minimization strategies. We help our clients crystallize their goals and objectives for their businesses and for their estate and then work closely with their advisors to implement their plan.

We develop strong, long-term relationships with our clients that are built on trust. We have a strong support team and deliver the best possible service and products to our clients.

Community Involvement

Steven is an active member and past president of the Princeton Alumni Association of DFW. Through events and activities the organization provides a community for alumni, current students, and friends of Princeton University.

Steven is a past Board Member of McKinney, TX Chamber of Commerce. Steven along with other members help make decisions to better the community and local businesses. In 2014, Money Magazine ranked McKinney as the best place to live in America.

Steven is a current Dallas Advisory Board Member of the Prison Entrepreneurship Program. They are a nonprofit organization with a mission to "stimulate positive life transformation for executives and inmates, uniting them through entrepreneurial passion, education and mentoring."
